How embedding works

The rules

  • A game is 10 statements, one at a time.
  • For each statement, tap True or False. Your first answer is final.
  • After each answer you see if you were right and read a short explanation with the facts.
  • You get one point for each right answer, so your score is 0 to 10.

How to play here

  • Tap True or False, then tap Next for the next statement. After the tenth, tap See result.
  • Keyboard: press 1 for True and 2 for False, and Enter for the next statement. The arrow keys move between the two answer buttons.
  • The dots at the top show your progress: a check for a right answer, a cross for a wrong one.

Difficulty levels

Level The statements are
Easy Facts most people know
Medium Facts many people know
Hard Facts fewer people know
Expert Surprising facts and common wrong beliefs

Tips

  1. Read every word. One detail, such as a number or a place, can make a statement false.
  2. At the expert level, a statement that “everyone knows” may be a myth.
  3. Read the explanations: the facts often come back in a different form.
